I first tried to take care of things on my own. But when the courts escalated my file and I discovered diversion services would no longer be an option I was stressed and overwhelmed to the max. My disclosure revealed accusations that I couldn’t begin to dispel and my shock along with the incipient charges rattled me to the core. I knew I needed a lawyer and while I couldn’t really afford one, I knew I couldn’t afford not to. I met with several lawyers who quoted me retainers of $3,000-$5,000 and that didn’t even include resolution fees or admin processing. Forget Snukel or Iovinelli, who in my bidding left me uncertain of my outcome and could only be sure of how much it would cost to get my foot in the door.
My eternal gratitude goes to Michael Oykhman who I accidentally connected with first. I’m sure he’s a busy man running this firm, but he never redirected my call and listened to me and reassured me instantly that my circumstances were surmountable and that we wouldn’t break the bank to see to it they be resolved in my favor.
