Strategic Criminal Law and Evidence Scholarship
Scholarship:
The Strategic Criminal Law and Evidence Scholarship recognizes a student who has completed their second year of a Juris Doctor program in the Faculty of Law at an accredited Canadian university who best demonstrates interest and excellence in Criminal Law and Evidence-based courses taken throughout the Law Program.
Award:
$1,000.00
The recipient of the Strategic Criminal Law and Evidence Scholarship will receive a $1,000 scholarship.
Submission Deadline:
May 31, 2025
The deadline for submissions is midnight, May 31, 2025, Mountain Time.
Selection Process
The recipient will be determined based on the average of the top three grades in Criminal Law and Evidence-based courses taken by the candidate during the first and second year of study. In the event of a tie, the grades obtained in additional Criminal Law and Evidence-based courses taken by the applicants will be compared to determine the successful candidate.
Requirements:
- The applicant’s name, date of birth, address, telephone number and email address;
- PDF copy of Law School Transcript, with courses fitting the Criminal Law and Evidence criteria highlighted for consideration; and
- The Applicant’s expected date of graduation.
