She informed me I was able to appeal my licence to transport Alberta so that iswhat I did and was able to have my licence reinstated before my court date. In the end she was able to have allmy charges and traffic ticket all withdrawn, and I didn’t have to make any court appearance because it. Someone who takes your case, plays the odds of win some, lose some and puts forth marginal effort. I worked with Michael Oykhman initially and then Ellen Sutherland and found both of them were in it to prove my case as if they had a vested interest/“skin in the game”. The criminal charge I was charged with was reduced to a Traffic Act violation after Ellen satisfactorily plead my case resulting in a pre-trial plea agreement favourable to me. This speaks volumes of her ability to influence and negotiate. I am sure that had I went with a less caring, and less experienced lawyer, I would have both a criminal record and a driving license suspension, of which I was faced with. Neither came to fruition.
