I am a criminal defence lawyer at Strategic Criminal Defence. I am a passionate and versatile advocate, and I maintain an exclusive focus in criminal defence.

I have been lead counsel on a variety of cases, including attempted murder, sexual assault, drug trafficking, and firearms charges. I have appeared in both the Court of King’s Bench and the Alberta Court of Justice, and have represented clients in front of both judges and juries.

I represent clients at each stage of the criminal justice process, including at bail hearings, trial, and sentencing. No matter the situation you are facing, I will work with you to identify your needs, navigate the system alongside you, and secure the best possible outcome.

I received my law degree from the University of Calgary in 2020. During law school I was heavily involved with Student Legal Assistance (SLA), a pro-bono legal clinic that provides legal services to low-income residents of Calgary and the surrounding area. Through SLA I discovered my knack for criminal law and quickly began orienting myself towards a career in criminal defence.

While at SLA I served as Trial Division Coordinator and acted as a mentor to other law students. In my third year of law school, I was the recipient of the Borden Ladner Gervais Trial Advocacy Internship, which recognizes a student who has made significant contributions to SLA and has demonstrated a commitment to improving access to justice. I was also selected to represent the University of Calgary at the McIntyre Cup, a criminal law trial advocacy competition.

Before practicing at Strategic Criminal Defence, I articled with and practiced in an office alongside three senior Calgary criminal defence lawyers where I assisted on many serious cases including murder, manslaughter, sexual assault, and kidnapping.
